A blog should be created for the existing online shop, which presents semantically and structurally contributions for users in the best possible way. The following aspects could not be missing:

• Integration for newsletter registration form
• Integration of current Instagram content
• Adaptation of the design to the shop

The separation between blog CMS and shop system was particularly important for security reasons.

Umsetzung

The blog was installed on WordPress basis & should be found under the same domain with the additional path / blog. All data from the blog was placed in a separate area from the server. Thus, when accessing the blog, the shop system could not be accessed automatically.

Since Mailchimp is used as the newsletter software, we installed a plug-in for the WordPress integration and were able to easily integrate the form.

The latest content could always be obtained and displayed via an Instagram widget with the help of an interface.

In order to create contexts and links that offer users added value, we used a tag cloud plugin to display relevant keywords in the sidebar.

The design was developed from a child theme of the standard WordPress theme and adapted to the design of the shop.
