Hapag-Lloyd Kreuzfahrten GmbH Nord with its four ships offers exclusive travel routes with numbered comfort. The MS Europa 2 is the youngest cruise ship and has been taking travelers on various routes to the most beautiful places in the world since May 2013.
The aim of the project was to develop an app that was primarily intended to present a competition to trade fair visitors. To do this, visitors had to complete a quiz and enter their contact details.
The contact details were used by Hapag Lloyd Cruises GmbH for marketing purposes.
The requirements for the app were:
- Simple layout, unmistakable usability
- 20 different questions will be selected at random
- If a question was answered correctly, the user won
- After the “Won” screen, data is entered
- An incorrect answer will take the user to the first question screen where a new question will appear
The data is then stored in the database.
We developed the app natively using PhoneGap. The technology of today’s Adobe company is a framework for creating hybrid applications for mobile devices.
